Indianapolis, IN.  The American Basketball Association (ABA) www.abalive.com  today announced that the  Philadelphia Spirit has been added to its growing list of expansion teams for  the 2014 season. “When we begin play this November, it will again be a  record-setting year for expansion,” stated Joe Newman, ABA CEO.  “And  the 2014 season is already shaping up to be another record-setting year with the  addition of the Philadelphia Spirit owned by Troy’s Treasure LLC. a  multi-faceted company with a variety of great businesses.  We are very  fortunate to have Troy C. Oglesby Sr. and his organization as part of  the ABA.  I know they are going to be something very special.”
Me. Oglesby Sr. is the CEO of the Philadelphia Spirit (www.abaphiladelphiaspirit.com.   He has over 20 years of leadership and strategic management experience as a  Managing Member of Troy’s Treasure LLC (www.troystreasure.com) which  manufactures food products, operates its own fast-food franchise, manages Grammy  Award-Winning music groups, produces television shows and does marketing and  booking for NFL players.
He also has 11 years of Law Enforcement Training and Investigative skills  training.  Mr. Oglesvy, Sr is an entrepreneur for Christ who owns his own  business manufacturing his brand of barbeque sauce to supermarkets and the US  Armed Forces and has written a book, “Ministry of Protection.”  He was also  the former chief personal security advisor for former NFL  Philadelphia  Eagles  quarterback Donovan McNabb and is currently Executive Producer of  several upcoming television shows centered around the NFL.  And if that’s  not enough, he has been ad advisor and training coordinator/instructor for  Hostile Control Tactics which conducts training for recently retired US Navy  Seals and other elite forces in executive protection techniques.  He has  also worked with on training the Cherry Hill Police Department, DEA, state and  klocal government agencies.  All this following his BA Degree from DePaul  University in Chicago.
