ABA ADDS CENTRAL TEXAS SWARM TO EXPANSION TEAMS
Indianapolis, IN. The American Basketball Association (ABA) www.abalive.com today announced that it has added the Central Texas Swarm to its growing list of expansion teams for the upcoming season. “ABA basketball is alive and well in Texas,” stated ABA CEO Joe Newman. “We’ve added quite a few teams there for the upcoming season and the competition should be very exciting.”
The San Antonio-based Shooting Stars Sports & Entertainment organization has announced a new partnership with Swarm Investment Group, a small group of local business owners to bring the team to Eagle Pass, Texas. Eagle Pass is located on the border of the Rio Grande River, 143 miles west of San Antonio and is known as the home of the Kickapoo Eagle Casino, the only casino in Texas.
