ABA FINAL EIGHT PLAYOFF GAMES TO BE ON ESPN3

Espn3&ABA Indianapolis, IN.  The American Basketball Association (ABA) www.abalive.com today announced that all of the Final Eight championship playoff games will be carried live on ESPN3 (www.watchESPN.com)  in April. “This is the first time in ABA history that fans nationwide will be able to watch ABA games and we are very pleased to have ESPN as our partner for this historic event,” stated ABA CEO Joe Newman.  “At last, fans will have a chance to see the outstanding quality of ABA players and the fast-paced excitement of ABA games with its unique rules.”

The Final Eight Championship Series will be held at Hirsch Coliseum in Shreveport/Bossier, LA beginning Thursday, April 10th at 6pm central time.  The top eight ABA teams will be competing for the ABA Championship. The Final Eight and Championship series is being hosted by the former  two-time ABA Champion Shreveport/Bossier Mavericks and will also feature two-time defending ABA Champion Jacksonville Giants.
