Colorado Kings Kick Off ABA Season Early

Colorado Kings season opener this Saturday at Regis University in Denver

 

The Colorado Kings have a new co-owner, two new sponsors and are the team to watch in the ABA.

The Colorado Kings, ranked 4th in the American Basketball Association (ABA), are the team to watch  this year.  They have been practicing hard and had some successful training camps, in preparation not only for this first game, but their trip to China.

You can definitely tell they are “ring hungry” with the intensity of their practices.  They have split the organization into to two different teams, one will be traveling to China playing the 33 day, 10 game series and the other will be starting the 2013-14 season playing their rivals here in the US.

This Saturday October 5, 2013, they will be playing the Saint Croix Renegades, 7:30 pm at the Regis University Field House, 3333 Regis Blvd., Denver, Colorado 80221-1099.  For directions to the Field House click here.

Tickets

Tickets are $10 for adults and  free for kids.  You can purchase tickets on-line, by clicking here or at the door the night of the game at the Regis University Field House.

Along with some new players The Kings are very happy to announce a new addition to the ownership.  Dr. John Wu, a local Internal Medicine Physician, has joined Durrell Middleton, the sole owner for the past four seasons.  Dr. Wu has already expressed his excitement and eagerness to get the season underway with high confidence they will win the championship and most of all earning the coveted Championship Rings at a recent event in the East Meets West Restaurant and Bar located at Bowl-ero .

In addition to present sponsors the Kings are glad to announce Bowl-ero lanes and Roundhouse Spirits have joined the organization as new sponsors.
